John McLaughlin, Jack Bruce, Billy Cobham & Stu Goldberg - Pavilion de Paris, Paris, France, October 29, 1979 [2CD][FLAC]
"John McLaughlin is probably The Ultimate Master of the Pick"
~Shawn Lane
IMO- the quality of the recording is nothing great but it seems to come from a very low gen source. John McLaughlin & Jack Bruce are easily heard in all their virtuosity. The solo intro to The Dark Prince (aka Miles) is great but his later solos in the tune are some of the greatest John McLaughlin solos I have ever heard, I think. You have been warned ; )
