If you are a taper/trader/collector of Jazz-Rock-Fusion live shows (ROIOs) and you would like to help us in sharing and preserving this wonderful music & video for free then we would like to invite you to become a blog author here at Dr. Fusion!

If you're an artist (or a legal representative of an artist or its estate)and you don't want your ROIOs shared here for free among your fans, please contact us and We will then put you in our list of not allowed artists. BTW, the ROIOs exist, you can't make them vanish. So, why not let your fans get them for free from one another instead of having to purchase them from commercial bootleggers on auction sites?

Project Z - Live at Stella Blue, Asheville, NC, June 01, 2001 [SBD][2CD][FLAC]

I am really glad to present to you Project Z. featuring the great Jimmy Herring on guitar. This recording definitely shows that Jimmy can play with the best! I love this Electric Power Fusion Trio and I wish I had some more live recordings of Project Z. If you like Jimmy Herring or Electric Power Fusion you're in for a real treat! Enjoy !!!

Recorded and transferred by Ty Chambers

Soundboard Recording

Excellent sound quality !!!

Source: DSBD>Tascam DA-P1>Oade Digi-Coax>Sony D7(@48kHz)

Transfer: Tascam DA-20 mkII>Audio Magic X-stream digi-coax>DiO2448>Sound Forge 5.0>CDWav>mkwACT>SHN

Resampled to 44.1kHz in SF 5.0 with anti-alias filter set at highest setting.

DAT master was used in the transfer.

Updated Notes:

My original SHN files had sector boundary errors. I converted the orginal SHN fileset to WAV. I then corrected the sector boundary errors using SHNtool. I then encoded the fileset to FLAC

Project Z is:

Jimmy Herring - guitar
Jeff Sipe - drums/percussion
Ricky Keller - bass
