A quick and dirty fix of a pretty good late-74 show. Highlights include a nice and goofy Village of the Sun, a quote-tastic Stinkfoot solo, and a thirty-minute "our bass player probably doesn't know Dupree's so we're just gonna jam" improvisation, featuring all the booger standbys a young teenager would expect. The sound isn't the greatest (A/A- is a bit kind, B+ is more accurate. I think the venue's PA system is to blame (I wouldn't expect much from a civic center), and the result is a slight lack of overall frequency response - like this was broadcast over the radio or something), but that's just nitpicking. This comes from the Dick Barber Collection, which has accounted for a good portion of our summer/fall 74 recordings. Special thanks to EasyEd for sharing his first generation copy with the world!
