Bill Connors Quartet - Live at Michael's Pub, Boston, Mass., U.S.A., December 4, 1980 [MASTER][2 CD][FLAC]

I think this qualifies as a "masters of jazz" (even if many may not know it.) If you think all Bill Connors music sounds like Hymm of the 7th Galaxy w/ RTF does, you should hear this one. It's Bill Connors with a quartet, not sure if same quartet as "the Bill Connors Quartet" Michael's Pub was about the size of a shoebox, and it hosted some cool shows. This group played 3 nights here,
I'm pretty sure this was the 1st of the 3 and it was very sparsely attended (probably because it was a weeknight, and Michael's was close to Northeastern Univ. Emerson College and the Berklee school of music.) the last track is a conversation with Bill Connors after the show. the conversation is not very clear sound, (clear enough to hear it though) but the music is all clearly heard and both sets are complete without any interrupted songs. Enjoy !!!
